6. International transfers

Some of our providers are based outside the UK, so your data may be transferred to and processed in other countries. Where we do this, we make sure appropriate safeguards are in place, such as transfers to countries the UK has deemed adequate, or use of the UK International Data Transfer Agreement (IDTA) or the UK Addendum to the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.

7. How long we keep your data

We keep your personal data for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period afterwards to meet legal, accounting or reporting requirements. To exercise any of these rights, email privacy@eeko.app. We will respond within one month, and we will not charge you for a routine request.

9. Complaints

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, please contact us first so we can try to put it right. You also have the right to complain to the UK’s data protection regulator, the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO), at ico.org.uk.

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure or destruction. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information and to respond promptly if a problem arises.
